Using del.icio.us with Internet Explorer

For as long as I can remember I’ve always used Firefox. I prefer it to Internet Explorer for heaps of reasons, the main one being the huge range of available extensions/add-ons that are available (depending on which version you’re using).

My new job has a very strict policy on what software can be installed on workstations, a policy I totally agree with. Many administrators will know the frustrations of supporting lots of different software packages when the installation of those packages isn’t controlled properly.

Anyway, apart from Firefox I’m also a big user of del.icio.us, one of the world’s biggest online bookmarking sites. The plugin for Firefox is excellent but I had never used del.icio.us with IE before. Luckily there’s an extension available for IE that gives the same functionality as the extension/add-on for Firefox.

You can download it from Yahoo’s del.icio.us IE extension website (del.icio.us is owned by Yahoo).

Very useful!
